Job Description

Role Overview Position and number of vacancies: Flight Crew Candidate (Captain), a small number of positions. On joining, the successful candidate signs an employment contract as a contract employee. After completing the prescribed training, and on the issue of captain qualification for the company's aircraft type together with completion of the probationary period, the employee is appointed as a permanent member of staff. Duties: operating the company's aircraft and carrying out the associated related work. Start date: a date designated by the company (negotiable). Key Responsibilities Operate the company's aircraft as a flight crew member. Carry out the related duties that accompany flight operations. Complete the prescribed training programme at the company's designated training facilities. Requirements Captain candidate: At least 500 hours of flight time as captain (pilot in command) at a Japanese scheduled air transport company. Hold a JCAB Airline Transport Pilot competence (skill) certificate . Hold a currently valid Class 1 aviation medical certificate . Applicants aged 60 or over must have passed the additional aviation medical examination. Hold an Aeronautical Radio Operator licence . Preference is given to applicants with experience as a check pilot, a line instructor, or a manager within an organisation. Other requirements: Able to complete the prescribed training within the training period set by the company. The aviation medical certificate must have at least 3 months' validity remaining at the time of joining, and the applicant must meet the aviation medical examination standards; this is a condition of employment. Hold a valid passport at the time of joining. Working Location and Pattern Work location (base): Niigata Airport, Okadama Airport, Sendai Airport, Chubu Centrair International Airport, Kobe Airport, or other locations designated by the company. During the training period the location is a domestic or overseas training facility. A housing allowance and a commuting scheme are available. Working pattern: in accordance with company regulations.
