Job Description

Role Overview The Captain is an active line pilot who maintains a high level of operational safety and security and adherence to standard operating procedures. Professional titles and posts are appointed by the Flight Operations Director with the consent of the Accountable Manager. Base: Ho Chi Minh City / Hanoi, and operational airports as required. Key Responsibilities Carry out the operational tasks assigned by the company. Ensure those tasks are executed accurately and completely, in strict compliance with company procedures and regulations and with the standards set by the aviation authorities. Licences & Qualifications Hold, or be eligible to hold, a Vietnamese ATPL and a Vietnamese instrument rating. Hold a current Class 1 medical certificate. ICAO Level 4 or higher English language proficiency. Age below 60 for male candidates and below 55 for female candidates. Experience Minimum 3,000 hours on jet airliners (commercial airline and/or multi-crew operations preferred). Minimum 500 hours PIC on A320-family aircraft; or Minimum 1,500 hours PIC on aircraft with an MTOW greater than 50,000 kg, with the expectation of completing the A320-family type rating course before operating at Vietravel Airlines.
