Calibration Technician (Punta Cana)

With the opening of our new hangar in Punta Cana, we are expanding our team and are looking for a Calibration Technician to join our growing MRO family.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform calibration, functional testing, adjustments, and certification of mechanical, electrical, electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic, and dimensional measuring equipment.
• Calibrate aircraft maintenance tools and test equipment in accordance with approved procedures, manufacturer specifications, and applicable standards.
• Maintain calibration records, certificates, and traceability of measurement standards, ensuring compliance with quality standards and aviation regulations.
• Monitor calibration due dates and coordinate the timely collection and recalibration of tools and equipment.
• Diagnose faults in calibration equipment, identify out-of-tolerance conditions, and implement corrective actions.
• Support internal and external audits related to calibration and metrology activities.
• Generate calibration certificates, technical reports, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Contribute to continuous improvement through the development and implementation of procedures and new measurement technologies.

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING:

• Technical diploma or equivalent training in Electronics, Industrial Electricity, Instrumentation, Metrology, Aircraft Maintenance Technology, or a related technical field.
• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in calibration, metrology, instrumentation, or related areas.
• Knowledge of measurement principles, calibration methodologies, and test equipment.
• Familiarity with calibration systems for pressure, torque, temperature, dimensions, and electrical and electronic equipment.
• Knowledge of aviation regulations and quality standards such as FAA, EASA, ISO 17025, AS9100, and AS9110 will be considered an advantage.
• Strong safety awareness, attention to detail, teamwork skills, and problem-solving ability.
• Availability to work rotating shifts and under pressure.
