Job Description

About the Company Airbus India Private Limited supports the C295 programme, including the Final Assembly Line for the C295 in Vadodara, India. Role Overview Prepare, execute and report flight tests while guaranteeing flight safety at the Final Assembly Line for the C295 in Vadodara, India. Key Responsibilities Monitor and ensure the safety of Airbus flight operations carried out from Vadodara or on detachment from this base. Perform ground and flight tests on the C295. Act as the local link in Vadodara with the Airbus Defence and Space Chief Test Pilot. Manage flight dispatch, including flight plans, weather and NOTAMs. Implement Airbus Defence and Space policy and procedures for matters relevant to local operations. Assure flight safety and flight operations. Coordinate local flight scheduling. Coordinate locally with the Final Assembly Line, Flight Line, airport authorities, the Indian Air Force and air traffic authorities. Licences & Qualifications Test pilot school graduate. Qualified C295 captain. English language ability equivalent to EASA Level 5. Requirements Technical Logbook (TLB) management. Configuration control. Leadership and communication skills.
