Role Overview This First Officer position guarantees a minimum of seventy-two (72) flight hours per month and reports directly to the Chief Pilot. The ideal candidate holds a valid FAA ATP certificate and First-Class Medical Certificate and is type-rated on multi-engine aircraft, with a B-737 type rating preferred. Candidates must demonstrate a strong working knowledge of the Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), excellent communication skills and the ability to uphold the company's values in a fast-paced operational environment. Key Responsibilities The First Officer supports the Captain in ensuring the safe and efficient conduct of every flight: Assist the Captain with the safe operation of the aircraft, passengers, cargo and crew Perform flight duties as delegated by the Captain and assume command if the Captain becomes incapacitated Maintain awareness of Captain responsibilities and accept delegated authority as required Ensure compliance with all FARs, company policies and standard operating procedures Maintain a current First-Class Medical Certificate and report any condition affecting fitness to fly Uphold professionalism, teamwork and clear communication across all phases of flight Licences & Qualifications FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate FAA First-Class Medical Certificate FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit Valid driver's licence Valid passport with worldwide travel eligibility English proficiency at ICAO Level 4 or higher Experience 2,000 hours total flight time, including at least 500 hours in turbojet aircraft Narrow-body aircraft experience preferred Crew Resource Management (CRM) training or experience preferred Requirements Authorisation to work in the United States Strong record of safety and regulatory compliance Ability to multi-task and perform under pressure in a dynamic environment Willingness to work schedules bid by seniority, including nights, weekends and holidays Extensive travel required Must successfully complete pre-employment DOT drug and alcohol testing and a criminal history records check (CHRC) What We Offer Comprehensive benefits package and competitive salary Quality-of-life schedule; the position is home based Excellent work environment Additional Information Worker category: full time.
