About the Company The Air India Group is inviting applications from experienced B737 type-rated Captains (PIC) and non-type-rated pilots for transition Captain positions. This opportunity is with Air India Express. Role Overview Two entry routes are available: direct entry for experienced type-rated P1 pilots, and a transition Captain route for experienced non-type-rated P1 pilots coming from jet or turboprop backgrounds. Experience Captain (PIC) — experienced type-rated P1: Valid B737 PIC endorsement Minimum 100 PIC hours on B737 family aircraft Maximum age limit: 62 years Transition Captain (B737) — non-type-rated P1 with jet experience: Total flying experience of 3,000 hours or more Airline experience of 1,000 hours or more on jet aircraft Minimum 500 PIC hours on aircraft with an all-up weight greater than 5,700 kg Maximum age limit: 60 years Transition Captain (B737) — non-type-rated P1 with turboprop experience: Total flying experience of 3,000 hours or more Airline experience of 1,500 hours or more on turboprop aircraft Minimum 500 PIC hours on aircraft with an all-up weight greater than 10,000 kg Maximum age limit: 60 years Requirements Indian nationals or OCI card holders Valid ATPL with current and valid Instrument Rating and Pilot's Proficiency Check, FRTOL and COP/RTR Valid Class I medical fitness assessment certificate ICAO Aviation English Language Proficiency Level 4 or above endorsed on the Indian ATPL Certificate of an incident- and accident-free record, breath analyser records, and details of any enforcement action taken against the licence holder by the DGCA Mandatory eGCA ID with all licences and documents validated Preference is given to candidates available to join immediately Additional Information Stages of selection: psychometric assessment, personal interview, simulator flight proficiency test, and pre-employment medical examination. Requirements

• Valid B737 PIC endorsement
• Minimum 100 PIC hours on B737 family aircraft
• Maximum age limit: 62 years
• Total flying experience of 3,000 hours or more
• Airline experience of 1,000 hours or more on jet aircraft
• Minimum 500 PIC hours on aircraft with an all-up weight greater than 5,700 kg
• Maximum age limit: 60 years
• Airline experience of 1,500 hours or more on turboprop aircraft
• Minimum 500 PIC hours on aircraft with an all-up weight greater than 10,000 kg
• Indian nationals or OCI card holders
• Valid ATPL with current and valid Instrument Rating and Pilot's Proficiency Check, FRTOL and COP/RTR
• Valid Class I medical fitness assessment certificate
• ICAO Aviation English Language Proficiency Level 4 or above endorsed on the Indian ATPL
• Certificate of an incident- and accident-free record, breath analyser records, and details of any enforcement action taken against the licence holder by the DGCA
• Mandatory eGCA ID with all licences and documents validated
