Role Overview Smartwings is seeking qualified and ambitious Captains to join its Boeing 737 fleet on a seasonal contract. The airline invites pilots with a passion for flying, high professional standards and a desire for personal and career growth to join the team. Licences & Qualifications Current EASA ATPL licence. Current command type rating with IR. Class 1 Medical Certificate. ICAO English level 4 or above. Right to live and work in the EU. Able to receive a background check by the start of OCC at the latest. Experience 3,500 hours total time. 1,000 hours in command on type. Last flight within the previous 12 months. Requirements Age between 26 and 63. No criminal record. Proven cooperation and teamwork skills. Excellent communication skills with advanced CRM traits. Stress management in an ever-changing work environment. Task sharing and delegation skills. Leadership and managerial skills. Overall problem-solving and decision-making skill set. A high level of situational awareness. What We Offer Self-employed contract as Captain on the B737, under Czech self-employment rules. Contract period until 31 October 2027, with a possible revolving contract in subsequent years depending on market conditions. Base: various home bases (floating base). A wide range of operations, from short-haul to intercontinental flights. Adequate income. Modern aircraft fleet: Boeing 737 NG/MAX. Accommodation allowance paid by Smartwings. Travel: the pilot reaches Prague at their own expense and may use MyID Travel for the duration of the contract; transport between the assigned base and Prague is paid by Smartwings during the 21-day pattern. Rostering: 20 days on / 10 days off.

Requirements

• Current EASA ATPL licence.
• Current command type rating with IR.
• Class 1 Medical Certificate.
• ICAO English level 4 or above.
• Right to live and work in the EU.
• Able to receive a background check by the start of OCC at the latest.
• 3,500 hours total time.
• 1,000 hours in command on type.
• Last flight within the previous 12 months.
• Age between 26 and 63.
