Location: Oxford

Contract: 3 months (high chance of further extensions)

Work Pattern: Mon - Fri / 08:00 - 17:00 / 40 hours per week.

Pay Rate: £21.05 Per hour (PAYE)

Overview:
This role involves supporting aircraft installation and maintenance activities, ensuring safety, airworthiness, and compliance with engineering standards. You'll work closely with supervisors, engineers, and design teams to deliver high-quality avionic solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain avionic systems and electrical looms
• Interpret wiring diagrams and design data accurately
• Perform off-aircraft workshop tasks and assist with hangar operations
• Support aircraft movements and general housekeeping
• Ensure health & safety compliance and use of PPE
• Collaborate with design office and contribute to continuous improvement

Requirements:

• Experience with helicopter systems and confined space work
• Skilled in soldering, crimping, and continuity testing
• Familiarity with specialist test equipment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexible, reliable, and detail-oriented
• Comfortable with shift patterns (allowance payable)
• IT skills (Google Workspace, SAP, MS Office - desirable)

Qualifications:

• Formal aviation apprenticeship or equivalent
• Valid driving license
