Key Responsibilities Maintain operational safety: assess and mitigate risks to Top Aces equipment, personnel and reputation Maintain an Airline Transport Pilot Licence or Commercial Pilot Licence, medical certification and the currencies required by the Company Operations Manual Achieve 100% compliance with applicable Transport Canada and/or Department of National Defence regulations and training rules When company aircraft operate outside Canadian domestic airspace, refer to foreign publications and adhere to foreign regulations in order to carry out the mission safely and effectively Conduct operations in accordance with the Company Operations Manual, Aircraft Flight Manual and Standard Operating Procedures; deviations from established procedures should occur only for reasons of safety Deliver professional, polite and proficient combat support in accordance with customer-defined requirements Communicate any issues (knowledge, systems, procedures, proficiency and support) that impact your ability to meet these requirements Promptly communicate any incident that results in, or had a high probability of resulting in, damage, injury, significant positive or negative customer perception, or media attention Support engagement of other employees through positive, proactive leadership on and off the job Communicate exceptional performance by any employee so that it can be recognised appropriately Secondary Duties: Subject Matter and Operating Location Expertise Identify and establish relationships with key contacts at the operational level or those who define and direct training requirements Maintain assigned reference material in the company knowledge store, including regulations, procedures, maps, mission data cards and other pertinent information, to ensure customer requirements are safely achieved Maintain relevance of reference material through at minimum an annual review and update, to be completed no later than 1 November; immediately forward any item that could significantly impact operations to the Lead Pilot for dissemination in AIF Produce Gen Book information, chapters and phase brief amendments as required Aid in the evolution and delivery of professional development training for all pilots Provide at minimum an annual update briefing for all pilots during ground school Licences & Qualifications Transport Canada Airline Transport Pilot Licence or Commercial Pilot Licence, Instrument Rating and valid Category 1 medical Qualified Fighter Weapons Instructor is an asset Position requires Level II clearance with the Canadian Government and the ability to gain access to the Canadian Controlled Goods Program Experience Minimum 2,000 hours Pilot-In-Command in fighter aircraft, including a minimum of 1,000 hours PIC in multi-role fighter attack aircraft Minimum 3 years' operational experience within the last 10 years, and an operational flying position held within the last 2 years Experience with Large Force Employment, Close Air Support, Precision Guided Munitions, Accurate Munitions and Unguided Munitions Experience operating a Towed Target system is an asset Requirements Able to communicate in English; French an asset Fit to fly as PIC on the Alpha Jet Ability to perform all work in support of the Corporate Values of Excellence, Service, Integrity and Together Occupational Health & Safety Responsibilities Work in compliance with Occupational Health and Safety acts and regulations Follow safe work practices and procedures and use safeguards and personal protective equipment Report hazards, such as unsafe situations and activities, to a supervisor immediately What We Offer A work environment in which service, integrity, excellence and teamwork are highly valued Opportunities for development and growth Multidisciplinary and multicultural collaboration at local and global level A flexible schedule Attractive benefit plan Come share your passion with us. Requirements
