How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)
Maintain and repair aircraft, aircraft engines, aircraft components, and avionics systems in accordance with Delta and FAA specifications. Perform inspections during the assembly and repair of parts, and conduct required testing following the repair or installation of components. Accurately document all maintenance and repair activities in compliance with Delta and FAA requirements. Identify and report component damage and unapproved parts. Demonstrate safety-conscious behavior and adhere to all safety procedures and operational standards.
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant license is required.
- Must be able to read and write at a level to comprehend and apply information contained in detailed and complex technical manuals.
- Should possess a basic understanding of electrical, electronical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic disciplines as they apply to aircraft systems.
- Be physically able to perform all maintenance duties with no limitations.
- Must be able to make overnight travel to troubleshoot and repair aircraft that are out of service.
- Be able and willing to work different shifts.
- Must achieve a satisfactory score on the mechanical aptitude test which is structured to determine the ability to perform essential job functions.
- Must be legally authorized to live/work in France / EU.
- Must be able to read, write and speak both English and French.
- Must be willing to accept additional duties as deemed appropriate by station management.
- Previous years of experience in a challenging line maintenance operation suitable
- Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
- Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
- Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
