Our Client in Papua New Guinea is looking for an Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor to join them.

Join a leading MRO facility as an Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor, responsible for ensuring aircraft maintenance activities are completed safely, on time, and in full compliance with CASA PNG regulations and company quality standards. This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing maintenance teams, fostering a strong safety culture, and ensuring maximum aircraft availability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead aircraft maintenance activities and shift teams.

  • Ensure strict adherence to safety policies, regulatory standards, and company manuals.

  • Manage tools, equipment, and technical data for proper maintenance execution.

  • Oversee compliance checks, documentation, inspections, and release to service.

  • Deliver on-the-job training, mentoring, and performance oversight for maintenance staff.

  • Foster continuous improvement, reporting, and compliance culture across teams.

  • Liaise with Production Planning, Procurement, and Quality & Safety teams.

Key Skills & Attributes:

  • Strong leadership, team-building, and communication skills.

  • Technical expertise with ATR 72-600 and/or DHC-8 aircraft.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Results-focused with commitment to quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

  • Able to work effectively in a multicultural environment.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Aviation, or equivalent.

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in aircraft maintenance.

  • CASA PNG License with type ratings on operated aircraft.

  • Human Factors training completed.

  • In-depth knowledge of MOE and CASA Part 145 requirements.
