A fantastic opportunity is now available to join our trusted client in Malta. We are currently recruiting experienced Licensed and unlicensed Avionics Technicians with hands-on expertise on either Boeing 787 or Airbus A320/A330/A340/A350 aircraft to support base maintenance operations on a long-term contract during the winter season.
Position Details:
Position: Avionics Technician
Aircraft Experience: Airbus A320 and/or Boeing 787
Employment Type: Contract (Base Maintenance)
Location: Malta
Start Date: Immediately
End Date: April 2026
Rates: Competitive hourly rate
Shift Pattern: 5 days on / 2 days off (average 60 hours per week)
Accommodation: Provided
Local Transport: Provided
Flights: Provided at the start and end of the assignment
Main Responsibilities:
- Carry out avionics-related maintenance, inspections, and modifications
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and electronic systems on B787 or A320 aircraft
- Support scheduled base maintenance tasks under the supervision of certifying staff
- Ensure high standards of safety, quality, and regulatory compliance
- Accurately complete all required maintenance records and documentation
Requirements:
- Recent hands-on experience as an Avionics Technician on B787 or one of Airbus type aircraft, or a valid EASA B2 License + proof of recency
- Valid: SMS including Human Factors, Fuel Tank Safety – Level 2 (FTS L2), EWIS (Modules 1 & 2)
- Initial: Human Factors, Fuel Tank Safety – Level 2 (FTS L2), EWIS (Modules 1 & 2)
- Minimum of 2 years' proven experience in commercial aircraft avionics maintenance
- Right to work in Europe (EU passport or valid EU work permit)
