We are looking for a Systems &amp; RAMS Engineer in Toulouse.
About the role:
As a Systems &amp; RAMS Engineer at Pangea Propulsion, your mission is to ensure the reliability, availability, maintainability, and safety of our aerospace systems throughout their lifecycle. You will play a crucial role in the design, analysis, and implementation of robust RAMS processes and practices, contributing to the success of our space missions and the safety of our operations.
We're looking for an engineer that is both capable and comfortable of teaching our team about RAMS engineering, and who is able to explain the concepts in a down-to-earth, straightforward, and understandable manner to our engineers, in order to effectively implement RAMS as a concept at Pangea Propulsion. You would also guide and consult the team continuously throughout projects to ensure that RAMS considerations are being taken into account for the system design and mentoring the team in how to do so. As such you would be expected to have a great deal of soft skills and a willingness to proactively engage with the rest of the team. You would be the only dedicated RAMS engineer at the company, and as such you should be prepared to simplify your methods where needed to fit a smaller team with aggressive timelines, and to independently define the best course of action.
You would be part of the systems team at Pangea Propulsion, and as such you would be expected to occasionally also deal with general systems engineering related topics, ranging from defining functional breakdowns of systems, defining and maintaining validation &amp; verification plans, structuring of system requirements, etc.
