The airline provides two different contract options, one for commuting and one for residents. Commuting is one month on, one month off, and duty hotels and transport provided. The resident contract provides a housing and travel allowance.
Chinese income tax is paid by the airline.

The country the pilot is from has an established diplomatic relationship with China
The pilot should hold a valid passport issued by the country of citizenship, and such country should be a contracting party of ICAO
The pilot should hold a current, valid and unrestricted ICAO APTL (EG, FAA, EASA Western Europe))
The pilot should hold a valid Class 1 medical certiﬁcate issued by the same licensing authority (ICAO state) as the issuance of his APTL
A valid type rating for Bombardier CL or CRJ
At least 3 years experience in Part 121 companies At least a total of 5000 ﬂight hours
At least 1,000 PIC hours commercial ﬂight hours in Part 121 companies
Shall hold at least level 4 of ICAO English proﬁciency endorsement for radio communication
Preferably no older than 50 years of age. Maximum age 55. Age over 50 years must be current on CRJ900
Certiﬁcate of no ﬂight accident record issued by the previous employer
Shall submit a notarized certiﬁcate of no crime record issued within six (6) months prior to the date of submission by the country the pilot belongs to or where the pilot permanently lives
