Zenon is delighted to be commissioned by a Fast Expanding Regional Carrier to source a Deputy NP of Flight Operations on a permanent basis for their HQ in the EU.
Our client is looking to engage with an individual with a broad operational background, together with extensive management experience as well as experience in the drafting of technical documents and operational manuals.
The duties and responsibilities of the DPHFO shall include and not be limited to:
Main Duties and Responsibilities:-
Assist the Director Flight Operations, and act as DFO in his absence.
Participate in relevant meetings concerning the airline operation with the relevant regulatory authorities
Ensure that the department has relevant and functional hardware and software (IT and IS) solutions.
In coordination with DFO, keep a close liaison with the local CAA, and be familiar with different government, ICAO and EASA regulations.
Set qualifications criteria for flight personnel.
On behalf of the DFO, ensure that the Company's operational activities are described in Operations Manual, handbooks, briefing material etc. and that these are kept up to date, and that they are in accordance with government procedures.

Minimum Skills and Experience:-
- A current license preferably with a TR on Turbo- Prop or Jet Aircraft (TR will be provided)
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
- Fluent Spanish Language skills would also be preferable but not essential
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven strong administrative, management and organizational skills.
- Enjoy working in a team
- Safety Management System Knowledge
- Good IT skills
