ALG has a number of great opportunities for Trade Assistants to join well-established commercial organisations based in Brisbane Airport. The positions will give the successful candidates the chance to get hands on exposure and the opportunity to work alongside AMEs but also give you a chance to demonstrate the attitude and skills required to obtain an apprenticeship.

This is a causal contract offering full time hours and the potential for permanency should you excel in the role. As a Trade Assistant, you'll enjoy a Monday to Friday roster, allowing for a great work-life balance.

Some of the main responsibilities of the position are:

• Maintaining company premises and equipment;
• Performing cleaning duties to ensure safety and suitability for use;
• Tool handling and management;
• Manual handling (picking and packing);
• Executing related task in airport ground operations and tacking instructions from Aircraft maintenance engineers;
• Completing various tasks on several different types of aircraft

The successful candidates possess the following attributes:

• Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Theory) and / or industry experience
• Full working rights in Australia
• Willing to undergo a background secuirty check
• Willing to comply with medical requirement (drug/alcohol and hearing test)
• Strong attention to details, ability to multi-task and good communication skills and
• Demonstrate full compliance will all work rules and regulation.
