Job description

We currently have an engaging role for an experienced Reliability Engineer to join our expanding team. The successful candidate will have +3 years previous experience in a similar role and have knowledge of the development and maintenance of the Reliability System for company aircraft by approved standard and approved technical data.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the Reliability System for all aircraft operated by Bluebird Nordic
  • Develop annual and quarterly reliability reports and present during relevant reliability meetings
  • Monitor elements included in the reliability system and ensure timely investigation/compliance of alerts
  • Summon and run the annual and quarterly reliability meetings, and file results
  • Review all operational and component trends
  • Monitoring maintenance delays and cancellations and enforcing completion of Maintenance Delay reports BM-32. Files a digital copy of the BM-32 in folder 6. Reliability\1.Reliability Reports\Reliability Reports 20XX\ on “S” drive.
  • Maintains records of aircraft utilization (hours and cycles) and distributes as required
  • Identify lack of or insufficient written procedures within the specific duties and assist with the developing and writing of adequate procedures
  • Assist with work pack development, Planning functions, and decisions
  • General continued development and improvement of the Maintenance Department
  • Perform other duties assigned to him by the Manager Planning & Engineering

Requirements:

  • Required Training as per CAME 3.4.5
  • Hold a valid Part 66 license or, through assessment of competence, prove sufficient knowledge to interpret maintenance requirements into maintenance tasks
  • +3 years relevant work experience in continuing airworthiness environment and in the application of aviation standards and safe operating practices or completed external (Boeing, EASA or equivalent) training course on the subject of Aircraft Maintenance Reliability theory
  • Comprehensive knowledge of all relevant parts of the company CAME, operational requirements and procedures, Quality System, and all applicable regulatory requirements
  • Fluency in English
  • Experience of working in an international environment
  • Travel requirements 20 %
