Job description

We have a rare opportunity for an MRO Planning Assistant to join one of our Clients providing aircraft line and limited base maintenance on a permanent basis in sunny Malta!

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Receive and assess customer work requests and communicate with the Head of Planning for work acceptance, i.e. within the 'Scope of Work'.
  • Ensure the availability of all necessary personnel (including third party support), tools, equipment, material, maintenance data, parts, and facilities whilst monitoring the maintenance work is to schedule, and environment conditions for safe completion thereof.
  • Strategic planning and monitoring of maintenance tasks in accordance with the roster, consider human performance limitations, adhering to safety compliance and raise additional task cards as required.
  • Process customer's documentation training, distribute to involved personnel across departments, ensure all essential training is completed, liaise with Head of Planning , Maintenance Manager & Quality Manager.
  • Efficiently process administrative tasks including quotes, work orders, purchase and sales orders, invoices and assign resources, also review tech log pages/customer documentation received from FSEs, and record all in MRO software system.
  • Review daily/monthly reports & work orders received from approved line stations & save in SharePoint software system.
  • Liaise with the Head of Planning and Maintenance Manager for the coordination of AOG requests.
  • Maintain customer database.
  • Consider the aircraft slot plan for line and base maintenance.

 

Requirements:

  • Possess a relevant Technical Aviation Diploma/technical qualification in aircraft maintenance and Part-66 Licence.
  • Relevant work experience to competently fulfil the role and responsibilities.
  • Successful strategic planner capable of working under pressure.
  • Flexible to work day/night shift pattern of 4 on/4 off
  • Proficient computer skills including experience of MRO software system (ideally MRX, although training will be provided).
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
