Job description

CHC Helicopter have an exciting opportunity for an Airworthiness Record Team Officer to join the team in Aberdeen on a 6 month Fixed Term basis. This position will report to the Airworthiness Records Team Leader and will be responsible for the control, verification and updating of aircraft records within the relevant systems and ensuring compliance with regulatory and company requirements at all times.


The key responsibilities of an Airworthiness Records Officer are:

  • Control and updating of aircraft records in AMOS
  • Verification of aircraft records scanned to AirVault
  • Updating and recording of aircraft and component log-cards & logbooks from maintenance work packs
  • Timely archiving and storing of aircraft records
  • Liaising with Engineering on issues relating to the aircraft assigned to the officer
  • Liaising with Airworthiness Records Departments around the CHC group
  • Compliance with UK Part M, CAME, Work Instructions and all relevant Safety & Quality requirements to ensure the highest standards of their work
  • Provide effective and timely response to queries from the organisation


The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Experience working with aircraft records and/ or working knowledge of aviation regulations is preferred
  • Technical knowledge of aircraft maintenance programs and configuration management is preferred
  • Ability to work on own initiative and within a team environment
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Be an effective communicator, highly credible with strong interpersonal skills
  • Be competent in the use of MS Office systems which are relevant to the position
  • Be able to deliver to targets and deadlines within the department
  • Be able to work in a busy environment on a daily basis
  • AIMS knowledge is preferred
  • Working knowledge of AMOS Maintenance Systems is preferred
  • Fluent in both spoken and written English language
