Cabin Engineer - Mechanical & Avionics Systems

Location: Mascot, NSW
Employment Type: Casual, Full-Time

We are seeking a highly skilled Cabin Engineer to join a major airline's Technical Services team, supporting continuing airworthiness of cabin systems.

This is a key role for engineering professionals with expertise in mechanical and avionics systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage continuing airworthiness of cabin mechanical and avionics systems
  • Coordinate maintenance programs, reliability initiatives, and engineering modifications
  • Conduct technical assessments of cabin system upgrades
  • Ensure regulatory compliance under CASR Part 21 & 42 (EASA/FAA knowledge desirable)
  • Provide technical guidance to Engineers, Technical Officers, and internal/external stakeholders

Candidate Requirements:

  • Engineering degree in Mechanical, Avionics, Aerospace, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering
  • Proven experience with aircraft cabin systems and modifications
  • Strong knowledge of CASR Part 21 & 42 compliance requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, fleet-wide engineering projects
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Based in Australia (required)
