We are looking for a Systems &amp; RAMS Engineer in Toulouse.
About the role:
As a Systems &amp; RAMS Engineer at Pangea Propulsion, your mission is to ensure the reliability, availability, maintainability, and safety of our aerospace systems throughout their lifecycle. You will play a crucial role in the design, analysis, and implementation of robust RAMS processes and practices, contributing to the success of our space missions and the safety of our operations.
We're looking for an engineer that is both capable and comfortable of teaching our team about RAMS engineering, and who is able to explain the concepts in a down-to-earth, straightforward, and understandable manner to our engineers, in order to effectively implement RAMS as a concept at Pangea Propulsion. You would also guide and consult the team continuously throughout projects to ensure that RAMS considerations are being taken into account for the system design and mentoring the team in how to do so. As such you would be expected to have a great deal of soft skills and a willingness to proactively engage with the rest of the team. You would be the only dedicated RAMS engineer at the company, and as such you should be prepared to simplify your methods where needed to fit a smaller team with aggressive timelines, and to independently define the best course of action.
You would be part of the systems team at Pangea Propulsion, and as such you would be expected to occasionally also deal with general systems engineering related topics, ranging from defining functional breakdowns of systems, defining and maintaining validation &amp; verification plans, structuring of system requirements, etc.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Leadership &amp; Collaboration

<li>Guide and mentor engineers in RAMS principles and best practices</li>
<li>Foster a culture of safety and proactive risk management</li>
<li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate RAMS into design and development and shape the design choices through expert recommendations</li>

2. Analysis &amp; Process Development

<li>Develop and implement advanced RAMS methodologies for space systems, including Pangea's product lines</li>
<li>Perform reliability analyses (FMEA, FTA), risk assessments, and hazard analyses</li>
<li>Conduct hazard analyses for launch operations and system testing</li>
</ul>
3. Compliance &amp; Documentation

<li>Establish and maintain RAMS documentation, standards, and reports</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards</li>
<li>Participate in verification and validation activities to ensure compliance with RAMS requirements</li>

4. Continuous Improvement &amp; Innovation

<li>Perform trade-off and redundancy optimization studies</li>
<li>Monitor system performance and implement reliability enhancements</li>
<li>Stay updated on industry advancements and apply emerging trends</li>

What you need to be successful:
1.Technical Expertise

<li>Master's degree in a relevant engineering field</li>
<li>Strong understanding of RAMS principles, methodologies, and techniques, as well as systems engineering concepts and practices</li>

About the role:
We are seeking an intern specializing in Mechanical Design Engineering to join our Mechanical Engineering Team in Barcelona. The selected candidate will contribute to one or several of the following topics:
