Tasks As the Senior Aircraft Mechanic, you will perform the following duties: <ul> <li>Perform aircraft maintenance tasks including all required adjustments, inspections, repairs, and functional tests. All tasks shall be done independently and autonomously</li> <li>Responsible to determine whether supervision or inspection is necessary for mechanics. (excluding RII Inspections defined by customer)</li> <li>Perform, inspection and sign off all tasks on all types relevant in their facility (type group) in "Insp/Attest by" column inside their area of authorization</li> <li>Deputize as a Team Leader if required or on request</li> <li>Carry out work in accordance with the applicable OEM Manuals, practices, approved procedures, documents and FAA regulations and requirements and RSQCM manual</li> <li>Troubleshooting and evaluation of systems on the aircraft when designate</li> </ul> * Takeover of additional tasks when is required Requirements To thrive in this role, we value a combination of the following requirements: <ul> <li>Airframe and Power plant degree or a related degree from an FAA-approved school</li> <li>Minimum of three (3) or more years of applicable aircraft maintenance experience is required</li> <li>Trained or have the knowledge and experience in the performance of maintenance, preventive maintenance, or alterations authorized by the repair station certificate and operations specifications to ensure all work is performed in accordance with part 43 (See, 14 CFR § 145.151)</li> <li>Capacity for intercultural competence; capacity for teamwork, capacity to work under pressure</li> <li>Thoroughly familiar with the applicable regulations, RSQCM manual, Repair Station Training Program, and the IQ MOVE processes used by LTPR for ensuring work is performed properly</li> <li>Good verbal communication skills in English and Spanish</li> </ul> * CV/Resume required About Lufthansa Technik Puerto Rico LLC.
