Scoot careers

Scoot is an airline in Singapore. It is a low-cost carrier and also a subsidiary of Singapore Airlines, which launched the brand in 2011. Meaning if you choose a career in Scoot, you will be a part of one of the most prestigious airline groups in the world! The airline first started flying on medium and long-haul routes mostly to China and India. Now the airline has around 70 destinations all around Asia and Oceania. The airline’s first flight was from Singapore to Sydney. Later on in 2012, Scoot announced it would order 20 Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners. Currently, the airline operates more than 40 Boeing and Airbus aircraft. At the start of its life, Scoot operated Boeing airplanes only. The airline differs in this aspect from other low-cost carriers such as Southwest and Ryanair, as it uses different types of aircraft. Other low-cost carriers use one type of aircraft, usually a Boeing 737 or an Airbus A320. However, this provides with an exciting career opportunity to be able to work on multiple aircraft types! Scoot presents themselves as a carrier with a Scootitude – an airline which is youthful, spontaneous and helps people to connect and experience new things in their life. A perfect example of this is the bright yellow colors of the brand and its liveries, making the brand impossible to miss whenever you see an aircraft or a logo of the airline. Scoot is also one of the 8 founding members of Value Alliance, which is the largest low-cost carrier alliance in the world, compromising of various carriers around the Asia-Pacific region. The airline recently started flying to Europe as well, with Athens and Berlin being the first destinations in the continent. If you have a big smile, a big personality and a passion for travel, you should consider joining Scoot. Career options are available for Pilots, Cabin Crew and Engineers. Make the world your office and join Scoot!
