You need to be able to obtain a health certificate according to EASA Regulations. As a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) with Texel Air, you will: <ul><li>Perform maintenance activities in compliance with our Part 145 Exposition. </li><li>Issue the Release to Service and ensure fleet readiness. </li><li>Supervise and certify tasks carried out by Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AMEs). </li><li>Maintain reliability above 98.5% by performing all maintenance safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. </li><li>Address safety issues proactively by reporting through the Texel Air safety reporting system. </li><li>Contribute to schedule integrity by minimising the impact of maintenance activities on operations. </li><li>Ability to undertake shift work is essential (nights and weekends), contactable (within reason) outside normal office hours, and willing to travel across Australia, New Zealand, and internationally as required. </li></ul> Key Accountabilities <ul><li>Ensure compliance with NZCAA Rule Part 145 requirements and company policies. </li><li>Certification of tasks carried out on aircraft and components. </li><li>Undertake Aircraft Maintenance Engineering tasks as required. </li><li>Actively contribute to operational excellence and safety standards. </li><li>Participate in random alcohol and drug testing programs as part of our commitment to safety. </li></ul> What We're Looking For To succeed in this role, you'll need: Qualifications: <ul><li>NZCAA Maintenance Engineer Licence rated on B737-800 aircraft 5 Cat, or </li><li>CASA Maintenance Engineer Licence rated on the B737-800 B1/B2.</li></ul> Note: 5 Cat or B1/B2 is preferrable, we shall consider all applicant with single or multiple category's on aircraft type B737-800.
