The role of a Fleet Transitions Records Specialist includes several technical records responsibilities and requirements critical to the on-time and within-budget transition of aircraft (both phase-ins and phase-outs) within our fleet at Smartlynx Airlines.

Key Responsibilities:

<ul>
	<li>Plan and perform preliminary records inspections of prospective aircraft for phase-in.</li>
	<li>Plan and perform detailed aircraft records review and analysis in advance of and during aircraft transitions (including but not limited to Airworthiness Directives; Service Bulletins; Engines, APUs, LLP, HT, OCCM components; Structural checks and repairs; Landing Gears Maintenance Program Compliance; etc.) to ensure the technical records are by EASA airworthiness standards and other specific contractual requirements.</li>
	<li>Identify any technical records discrepancies and timely advise the aircraft lessor or the relevant Smartlynx CAMO stakeholders to plan for the necessary rectifications and bridging to EASA standards (such as AIR OPS Subpart D) to avoid delays at delivery or re-delivery.</li>
	<li>Manage and control records representatives during aircraft transitions (if required also participate in on-site activities) and be responsible for the preparation of the final aircraft documentation and records.</li>
	<li>Perform proactive aircraft records review during and following completion of any major maintenance event (such as C-checks, major airframe structural events or structural repairs, update D&amp;B chart, LG overhauls, engine repairs or performance restoration, APU repairs or restoration, etc.) to ensure proactively that the technical records standards meet EASA and contractual redelivery conditions.</li>
	<li>Work closely in coordination with the rest of the Transitions team engineers and project managers and communicate with other departments and Lessors as and when required.</li>
	<li>Prepare necessary reports, checklists, and summary statuses for Smartlynx Management.</li>
	<li>Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives through the creation of best practice checklists to be used by Smartlynx CAMO engineers during maintenance events and also by the subcontracted reps to meet the highest standards.</li>
</ul>

Requirements:

<ul>
	<li>Hold an Aeronautical Engineering Degree (or through assessment of competence) and have proven sufficient knowledge of EASA Part M regulation about technical records airworthiness requirements.</li>
	<li>At least 3 years of technical records experience with an air carrier commercial operator. Prior experience with aircraft transitions will be a strong plus.</li>
	<li>Excellent knowledge of EASA rules and regulations.</li>
	<li>Proficiency in English.</li>
	<li>Good knowledge and experience in operating computer software programs, CAMO engineering software (AMOS and/or OASES will be an advantage), and handling computer data/information.</li>

The Maintenance Director (Accountable Manager EASA P145) is responsible for the overall management and oversight of the SmartLynx Technik operations, ensuring that line maintenance is conducted in compliance with all regulatory requirements and line with airline expectations. Reporting to the Chief Technical Officer (CTO), the Maintenance Director will lead and manage line maintenance stations, ensure optimal use of resources, and maintain high standards of safety, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

<ul>
	<li>Ensure that all line maintenance is carried out per EASA Part-145 requirements, organization procedures, and company policies.</li>
	<li>Determine the SmartLynx Technik strategy and policy for aircraft maintenance;</li>
	<li>Lead and manage the overall operations of Part 145 divisions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.</li>
	<li>Oversee and guide a team of line maintenance engineers, promoting teamwork and a culture of excellence.</li>
	<li>Ensure that all areas of line maintenance are organized for optimal performance, including the efficient use of available assets and manpower.</li>
	<li>Oversee production planning of maintenance activities, organizing shifts while considering human performance limitations.</li>
	<li>Co-ordinate line maintenance and operation activities</li>
	<li>Ensure that appropriate procedures are established and adhered to within the airline's technical team.</li>
	<li>Ensure that all SmartLynx Technik personnel have adequate training and qualifications for the work to be performed.</li>
	<li>Ensuring that adequate resources (personnel, facilities, equipment, tools, materials, and data) are available to support the maintenance activities and compliance with the regulations.</li>
	<li>Assess and approve external maintenance services required by the SmartLynx Technik.</li>
	<li>Ensuring effective communication channels within the organization and that reporting structures are clear.</li>
	<li>Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance efficiency, safety, and quality.</li>
	<li>Oversee the establishment of new line stations in response to company needs, including assessing location suitability, resource requirements, and regulatory compliance.</li>
	<li>Develop and manage the SmartLynx Technik budget, ensuring all expenditures align with the airline's financial goals.</li>
	<li>Monitor maintenance costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement strategies to optimize expenditures.</li>
</ul>

Requirements:

<ul>
	<li>Minimum of 10 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role, preferably in an ACMI or charter airline environment overseeing P145.</li>
	<li>Relevant engineering or technical degree, or an additional 5 years of experience in maintenance or continuing airworthiness management.</li>
	<li>Holder of a valid EASA Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance License and successful completion of relevant aircraft type familiarization trainings will be considered as advantage.</li>
	<li>Extensive knowledge of EASA Part 145 regulations, Safety Management Systems (SMS), Human Factors, Fuel Tank Safety (FTS), and Electrical Wiring Interconnection System (EWIS).</li>
	<li>Proven experience managing multiple line maintenance stations and leading large technical teams.</li>
	<li>Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with a focus on safety, quality, and operational efficiency.</li>
	<li>Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and controlling costs.</li>
	<li>Proficiency in Maintenance Management Systems (MMS) and other aviation software tools.</li>
	<li>Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.</li>
	<li>Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.</li>
	<li>Previous experience as an Accountable Manager or in a similar regulatory authority-approved position.</li>
	<li>Strong network within the aviation industry, particularly with regulatory bodies, OEMs, and maintenance service providers.</li>

WHAT WILL YOU DO

SmartLynx Airlines is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Base Maintenance Technical Representative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the technical follow-up of maintenance checks, providing onsite support, and ensuring that all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. This role involves supervising contracted maintenance providers, attending daily production meetings, and ensuring effective communication between all teams involved.

Key Responsibilities:

<ul>
	<li>Perform the technical follow-up of maintenance checks.</li>
	<li>Provide onsite support at the station where base maintenance is being performed.</li>
	<li>Supervise contracted maintenance providers/suppliers.</li>
	<li>Attend MRO production daily meetings and provide daily reports to the SmartLynx Airlines Technical Team.</li>
	<li>Ensure all tasks are on track to ensure aircraft compliance with planned Turnaround Time (TAT).</li>
	<li>Control costs associated with assigned base maintenance checks.</li>
	<li>Encourage clear communication between all SmartLynx teams and maintenance providers to resolve possible conflicts.</li>
	<li>Ensure agreed Man Hours (MH) and materials are adequate for defect rectification.</li>
	<li>Conduct random documentation and defect rectification quality checks.</li>
	<li>Ensure all findings are clearly recorded and reported.</li>
	<li>Ensure all structural repairs are performed in accordance with the Structural Repair Manual (SRM) or as per the Airbus Instructions Bulletin (AIB).</li>
	<li>Verify that additional man-hours raised are genuinely out of the scope of the check.</li>
	<li>Complete and sign Aircraft Delivery Certificates prepared by the Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) organization.</li>
	<li>Update Maintenance Control Center (MCC)/Software Tracking Program (STP) against all remaining open Minimum Equipment List (MEL) items after the check.</li>
	<li>Analyze the outcome of each base maintenance event and propose mitigating actions.</li>
	<li>Perform other tasks assigned by the Base Maintenance Project Coordinator.</li>
