What kind of assignments can you expect as a Business &amp; Tech management trainee? Here are examples of what you may encounter at Air France-KLM:

Product Manager of an agile team in Cargo

As a product manager, you are responsible for a team that develops new functionalities in Cargo. This is to enhance collaboration with their customers (forwarders) in the sale of Cargo products. This team works according to agile principles and consists of both French and Dutch employees from IT and the Cargo business. Apart from setting up a team, you will be responsible for realizing the first minimum viable product (MVP).

Leading a combined (AF-KL) team

You are responsible for delivering IT products to employees or businesses of Air France and KLM. This together with your team members in Amsterdam, Valbonne, Toulouse, and Paris. Including, the AF-KL Collaboration team, who are responsible for delivering Office 365 solutions such as Microsoft Teams and Office.

Also, new initiatives like Power Platform, a set of tools for rapid and easy application development. In this role, you will learn how to efficiently align IT products with both KLM and Air France and how to manage teams at different locations with all the associated cultural aspects.

Managing the transition of Air France-KLM to the cloud

This time requires faster time-to-market and the flexibility to better respond to the needs of our passengers. To achieve this, we say goodbye to our physical data center and migrating our applications to the cloud. This brings significant changes to our way of working (DevOps). As well as investments in our colleagues' knowledge and training. It will be your task to guide this process with your team, or as part of the transformation program.

Applying Artificial Intelligence

Data is the new oil and plays a growing role in making better decisions. You will be challenged to explore which new AI tools we can use to further optimize our schedule. This involves using data sources both within and outside of Air France-KLM.

Other assignments could include:

	<li>Further development of our successful social media HUB;</li>
	<li>Ensuring a successful rollout of our self-check-in equipment at the kiosks at Schiphol Airport;</li>
	<li>Leading the implementation of a private ChatGPT environment within Air France-KLM;</li>
	<li>Developing a seamless integration of Air France-KLM with Skyteam partners for check-in functionality.</li>
</ul>

Management Traineeship Business & Tech

Main duties:<ul><li>Perform and sign-off/release maintenance on Aircraft according to the privileges given by the company and limitations given by EASA Part 66 and EASA Part 145</li><li>Take trouble shooting decisions to ensure a rational rectification of a technical defect (root cause) with the use of the approved maintenance data</li><li>Provide regular feedback on job progress, discovered defects and encountered problems to the directly concerned persons</li><li>Inform the Team Leader Maintenance about every delay or job cancellation with adequate motivation</li><li>Ensure that Work Orders are completed with necessary information according to internal procedures in place</li><li>Perform single check control and additionally perform double control (DC) for critical tasks</li><li>Raise deficiency reports and provide technical advices to Team Leader Maintenance or Maintenance Coordinators when required</li><li>Ensure that working place and tools are always kept clean, well ordered and complete</li><li>Occasionally assure support on demand to the concerned department if proper instructions or training were received</li></ul> Required profile: &nbsp;Minimum required criteria:<ul><li>Be a current Certifying Staff EASA Part 66 CAT B1</li><li>Having proven experience in aviation and having successfully completed at least the last two EASA Part 145 competence assessments</li><li>Be prepared to work in a team and on irregular shifts</li><li>Accept Duty Travel</li><li>Be rigorous and self-motivated</li><li>Be familiar with standard office applications</li><li>Show user skills in the tools used in Luxair Technics</li><li>Show good communication skills in English as well as skills in French or German (spoken and written)</li><li>Provide advanced knowledge of inspections and maintenance procedures for all aircraft models and systems which compose Luxair’s fleet</li><li>Provide advanced knowledge of pertinent technical reference materials</li><li>Show good organizational skills</li><li>Show a good sense of priorities</li><li>Demonstrate the ability to communicate at all levels, both inside and outside the company</li><li>Show the ability for clear expression in writing</li><li>Be capable of working independently</li><li>Maintain the strict confidentiality of the data</li><li>Attend and pass successfully all mandatory trainings according to the area of activity</li></ul>The ideal candidate:<ul><li>Knowledge of Luxemburgish or any other language is considered as asset</li><li>Develop Leadership skills</li></ul>
