As a product manager, you are responsible for a team that develops new functionalities in Cargo. This is to enhance collaboration with their customers (forwarders) in the sale of Cargo products. This team works according to agile principles and consists of both French and Dutch employees from IT and the Cargo business. Apart from setting up a team, you will be responsible for realizing the first minimum viable product (MVP).

Leading a combined (AF-KL) team

You are responsible for delivering IT products to employees or businesses of Air France and KLM. This together with your team members in Amsterdam, Valbonne, Toulouse, and Paris. Including, the AF-KL Collaboration team, who are responsible for delivering Office 365 solutions such as Microsoft Teams and Office.

Managing the transition of Air France-KLM to the cloud

If you enjoy working in a startup environment and are enthusiastic about developing cutting-edge hardware for satellites, spacecraft, and aerospace systems, we want to hear from you!Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Define, design, implement, and maintain measurement/test solutions for link/modem validation.</li><li>Analyse calibration and metrology aspects, including statistical error analysis, confidence levels, and error budgets.</li><li>Develop modular, reusable software in Python (or similar languages) for various setups.</li><li>Troubleshoot and analyse link-performance issues.</li><li>Collaborate with DSP, hardware, and software teams to enhance system performance.</li></ul>Job Requirements and Minimum Qualifications:<ul><li>Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Physics.</li><li>2+ years of experience with RF measurement and instrumentation.</li><li>2+ years of programming experience using Python, LabVIEW, SQL, or Embedded C.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li></ul>Preferred Experience:<ul><li>Proficiency with Linux operating systems, VLANs, and network security.</li><li>Hands-on RF measurement experience with analyzers, vector signal generators, power sensors, and network analyzers.</li><li>Knowledge of physical-layer modem algorithms/standards (DVB-S2, CCSDS, SG NTN).</li><li>Experience with link-performance measurement (link/protocol testers, channel emulators).</li><li>Collaborative software design experience (GIT, code reviews).</li><li>Antenna range experience and OTA experiment design.</li><li>RF test automation experience (SCPI, test executive).</li><li>Statistical analysis and metrology expertise.</li></ul>This is a fantastic opportunity for a RF Communications Engineer to design and own new cutting-edge products in a fast-paced, innovative environment and benefits from a competitive salary and benefits and site based working.
