Luxaviation is currently seeking a suitably qualified person to fill a vacancy within the dispatch division, based in Singapore or Hong Kong. The Flight Dispatcher is responsible for all trip set-up and support, trip coordination, flight planning and flight following ensuring the safe completion of all company related flight activities in accordance with AOC and company procedures. Key Responsibilities : <ul><li>Oversee the flying programme both tactically and strategically throughout the shift period</li><li>Maintaining watch of all traffic flows and plan accordingly</li><li>Trip setup in accordance with AOC and operational requirements including setting up all services for the flight, arranging slots/permits/ handling/fuel and other services as necessary</li><li>Conduct route evaluations and performance feasibility</li><li>Crew Scheduling and safeguarding compliance with stipulated rules of the various AOCs</li><li>Collating, interpreting and delivering weather briefings to crew</li><li>Collating and interpreting FIR/Enroute and Station Notam's in the preparation and final dispatch stage of flight planning and acting on pertinent details accordingly should they affect any flights</li><li>Managing passenger details/manifests and arranging customs and immigrations services as required</li><li>Arrange passenger and crew travel and accommodation</li><li>Global IFR/VFR, short range and ultra-long range EROPS / ETOPS flight planning in compliance with multiple worldwide AOC's, flight safety, and international best practice</li><li>Dispatch flights and submitting the appropriate flight planning and related documents to the crew and required stakeholders</li><li>Flight monitoring to include tactical control of ATC flight plans; CFMU slot monitoring and controlling live workflow in terms of urgency and other factors and utilising resources available to maximum effect </li><li>Actively participate in the company's quality and safety program</li><li>Communicating effectively with all stakeholders including KAM's to accommodate the needs and requirements of all parties</li><li>Maintaining good customer service standards</li></ul> Ideal Candidate : Essential <ul><li> Previous Dispatch experience</li><li> Detailed knowledge of regulations and dispatch requirements</li><li> A highly process driven approach to problem solving</li><li> Excellent interpersonal skills</li><li> Proven record as a 'Team Player'</li><li> Willingness to work to objectives set by the Head of Dispatch particularly regarding compliance with policies and procedures</li><li> Willingness to do shift work including night, weekends and public holidays.</li></ul> Desirable Hold current Dispatch licence Working Hours - shift work This is an exciting opportunity to join an industry leading, expanding company.
