Ethiopian Airlines careers
Ethiopian Airlines is the national flag carrier of Ethiopia. The carrier is also fully owned by the government, as it is the only shareholder of the company. It is also a member of Star Alliance. It is based in Ethiopia’s capital, Addis Ababa. Its hub is also located in the capital’s airport, Bole International. Ethiopian flies to more destinations in Africa than any other carrier, it is also the largest carrier in Africa. In June of 2018, Ethiopian Airlines took delivery of its 100th aircraft, a Boeing 787-9. It became the first carrier in Africa to operate a total of 100 airplanes in its fleet. The fleet consists of mostly Boeing aircraft, but the airline operates Airbus and Bombardier planes as well. Currently, Ethiopian Airlines has 108 aircraft. They serve 125 passenger and 44 cargo destinations all around the world. Ethiopian Airlines is also regarded as one of the safest African airlines.
