Job Description: Accountabilities The supervision and standardization of the flight instructors in Airbus Singapore Training Centre, except Theoretical Knowledge Instructors, in accordance with Airbus Flight Crew Training Organization Manual A60.0 and other Airbus applicable manuals, processes and documents. Main Activities Manages the local standardization team. Ensures that flight instructors meet the competency requirements as defined in "Airbus Training" standards. Ensures that flight instructor relevant training and/or standardization forms are completed in accordance with the applicable procedures. Proposes specific training as per A60.4 when applicable. Acts as standardization trainer and evaluator. Provides feedback and support to the continuous improvement of the Airbus Flight Crew Training Operations Manual - Personnel Training - A60.4. Reports to the CFI of the Worldwide ATO in regards to the delegation as local Chief Flight Instructor. Participates to worldwide and regional standardization workshops Participates to the Worldwide ATO Core Team Disseminates relevant information to the flight instructors. Provides input to the flight instructor technical booklet. Organizes and runs local Notice Observations (NO) and No Notice Observations (NNO) Participates in the Advanced Flight Instructor Standardization Council on request. Participates in working groups as defined by the CFI of the Worldwide Airbus ATO. Provides support to other training centres on request of the CFI of the Worldwide Airbus ATO. Provides the monthly feedback for the Worldwide ATO List of Instructors. Provides support to the development and execution of the recurrent training &amp; checking program. Promotes Airbus Flight Training Reference. Ensure local standardizer well-being. Keeps proficiency as Type III instructor and examiner and provides at least 10% of her/his working time to perform flying activities. Allocate up to 10% of his/her working time to perform customer simulator sessions as an instructor (production). Continually promoting the safety policy to all personnel and taking part in SMS initiatives. Convening and documenting all interviews and follow-up action required in case of sub-standard performance. Support the local Head of Training for the compliance with Airbus requirements and internal rules. Controls and validates the competency management plan of the local instructors of the training centre in coordination with the local Competence Manager. Output The jobholder will ensure flight instructor training, supervision, standardization and competency in compliance with applicable regulations and Airbus policy and processes. You are a qualified ICAO TRI / TRE, EASA licensed. You have relevant Airbus Flight Training experience, You have significant Airline operations experience, wide body experience is a plus. You have relevant knowledge in <ul><li>CBTA, TEM &amp; Human Factors is a must</li><li>EBT knowledge is a plus.</li></ul> Requirements: You have the ability to deliver on time and on quality the project with strong coordination skills. You have the ability to demonstrate good communication skills, stakeholder management and team spirit. You are able to work in a multicultural environment. You demonstrate Airbus values in your daily environment. A team management experience in Airbus or in an Airline industry is a plus. Language skills: Negotiation level in English. Local Chief Flight Instructor - Singapore Training Centre

About This Role The Simulator Instructor is responsible for all training activities being delivered in compliance with the authority approval, defined standards and processes and ensures that the highest standards of safety, compliance and training quality are maintained. Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to: <ul><li>Conduct training duties in accordance with the FSI job description.</li><li>Follow the applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)</li><li>Recommend revisions to SOPs, where appropriate</li><li>Assist with the preparation of courseware and training materials, including theoretical examinations, to comply with regulatory requirements.</li><li>Monitor the progress of clients / students, and if required, to develop action plans to assist clients / students who are not progressing up to required standards.</li><li>Promoting and supporting improvements and enhancements to processes, documentation, courseware, and training materials utilized by the ATO.</li><li>Participates in the Progress, Academic &amp; Disciplinary Review Boards, and provides recommendations for remedial action (if any) concerning progress issues in training, or trainee disciplinary issues.</li><li>Any other duties assigned by the Lead Instructor or HOT</li></ul> To be considered for this role, you will need the following: <ul><li>Minimum of 1500 hours pilot-in-command (PIC) on a multi- crew jet transport.</li><li>Hold a valid Flight Instructor Rating, or equivalent rating or certification.</li><li>Preference applicant with previous experience as a Flight Simulator Instructor / Type Rating Instructor</li><li>Previous experience in Airline/ATO training.</li><li>Hold / have held an ICAO-recognized ATPL/CPL/MPL with minimum ICAO English level 4.</li><li>Knowledge of civil aviation regulations governing civil aviation training</li><li>Motivated and disciplined individual with initiative who can deliver results on time and motivate others in a remote working environment</li><li>Has excellent interpersonal and communications skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to develop strong working relationships at all levels both internally and externally</li><li>Has proven leadership skills and track record of working effectively in a multi-cultural environment</li><li>Basic IT skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office suite of applications</li></ul> #LI-NY1 Position Type On Call (Fixed Term) CAE thanks all applicants for their interest.
