The aircraft will arrive in 2019. The airline flies to more than 100 destinations in Europe. In 2017, the airline launched a new base in Liverpool, together with 9 other bases all around Europe. Its main hub is in Bucharest’s biggest airport, Henri Coandă International Airport. Blue Air purchased the recently privatized Air Moldova. The airline has seen steadily growing passenger numbers. In 2017 Blue Air saw a 40% increase in their numbers. Blue Air’s CEO was recognized as the best CEO in Romania, adding to the success the carrier has been having in the past few years.
