Place in the organization:The Airport Operations Coordinator reports to the Disruption Control Centre Manager (DCC Manager).Responsibilities:The Airport Operations Coordinator is responsible to the DCC Manager for:Disruption management:<ul><li>Overseeing disruption management;</li><li>Proactive avoidance of EC261;</li><li>Communication and follow up in case of flight disruptions, follow up on recovery procedures, based on EU261/2004 regulation;</li><li>Notifications of possible disruptions towards Ground Handling Companies and Hotel/Transportation providers;</li><li>Liaising with duty managers in case of disruption;</li><li>Tracking the disruptions in internal systems;</li><li>Controlling and solving DCS related issues (i.e. missing PNL, change lid);</li><li>Communication about operational limitations (i.e. seat limitations);</li><li>Leading On Duty Agents (Airport Operations Assistants).</li></ul>General Ops tasks (out of disruption times)<ul><li>On time monitoring of operational messages and delay codes, follow up with non-complying stations;</li><li>Changing aircraft types and ordering seat changes (if necessary);</li><li>Dealing with ad-hoc Inadmissible passenger cases;</li><li>Training newcomers</li></ul>Meetings:Participating in:<ul><li>Disruption Control Centre Team meeting – attend</li><li>Daily Operations Control meeting – attend</li><li>Daily third party HOTAC&amp;GT provider meeting – attend</li></ul>Authorities of the function:The Airport Operations Coordinator has the authority to:<ul><li>Authorize HOTEL amenities and related costs in case of disruption;</li><li>Authorize free rebooking in case of disruption.</li></ul>Skills and competencies:<ul><li>Excellent communication and organization skills;</li><li>Flexible approach and ability to remain diplomatic;</li><li>Ability to work under pressure;</li><li>Ability to work in 12 hours shifts;</li><li>Solid decision-making;</li><li>Leadership skills.</li></ul>Minimum requirements:<ul><li>Fluent English (written and spoken);</li><li>College or university degree,</li><li>Computer proficiency.</li></ul>Training requirements:<ul><li>Various DCC &amp; GO technical trainings.</li></ul>When applying, please only provide valid information regarding your educational background and certificates, as the original documents will be requested during the hiring process.We look forward to meeting you and learning more about your skills and experience.
