Technical Services Engineer

ALG is currently seeking a Technical Services Engineer and/or B1/B2 LAME with previous Technical Services experience on behalf of our aviation client at Perth Airport. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable exposure to the aviation industry and explore various career pathways.

This role is offered as a casual contract (full time hours) for 12 months, with the possibility of extension.

We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:

• B1 or B2 CASA Licence or previous technical experience
• Ideally, experience working with A320 or F100 aircraft
• Recent industry experience
• Background in line/heavy aircraft maintenance
• Ability to obtain a red ASIC and complete a security background check
• Willingness to undergo Drug and Alcohol Screening and Hearing Tests
• Full compliance with all work rules and regulations

To excel in this role, you should have:

• A strong understanding of aircraft technical management principles
• Preferably, experience with Fokker 100 or a Part 66 License
• Extensive knowledge of airworthiness compliance regulations
• High computer literacy
• Self-motivation, initiative, and strong organizational skills
• The ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• A proven ability to work effectively within a high-performing team
• Previous experience in a similar role is highly advantageous
