The Supervisor, Maintenance Planning is responsible for daily supervision and guidance for Maintenance Planning personnel within the Maintenance Planning department.

All About The Role

  • Responsible for overall supervision of the designated Maintenance Planners, including providing guidance and instruction concerning the execution of all daily job functions, shift scheduling, payroll, procedural training, and performance evaluations.
  • Perform routine audits of company computerized maintenance systems ensuring the accuracy and timely completion of all schedule maintenance tasks.
  • Coordinate the activity required upon new aircraft arrival and the transfer of aircraft to and from the company fleet.
  • Ensure the timely execution of all Daily Remain Overnight (RON) Maintenance visits, Extended Visit, Mod Lines, and major component plans.
  • Monitor fleet maintenance capacity requirements and flight schedule changes and coordinate the necessary changes to ensure the minimum maintenance requirements are met.
  • Oversee the timely completion of all Maintenance Program, Engineering, and deferred Maintenance Tasks (MEL, NEF, CDL, TRENDs, Management Requests, and Planning Watch Items).
  • Maintain adequate staffing levels across all Maintenance Planning positions needed to complete all daily assigned jobs functions through the judicious use of company policy.
  • Monitor aircraft and hub operations ensuring aircraft are routed/rerouted to facilitate any operational irregularity while maintaining the integrity of the maintenance plan and established company performance objectives.
  • Notify Manager, Maintenance Planning in the event of a scheduling conflict or material shortage affecting the timely compliance of all scheduled maintenance requirements.
  • Support and provide back-up for the Maintenance Planning Manager, or Supervisor.
  • Analysis and projects as assigned by the Manager, Maintenance Planning.
  • Work is performed in the Endeavor Airlines OCC, and requires professional contact with OCC personnel, management staff, and business relationships with outside vendors, as well as the FAA.

All About You

  • Bachelor’s degree or a combination of education and related experience.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in maintenance planning is preferred.
  • Prior supervisory experience is preferred.
  • 5 years’ experience in aircraft maintenance and airline operations.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly in speech and writing, and intermediate level computer skills required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment handling a high volume of multiple tasks with a high degree of attention to detail in making timely operational decisions.
  • Must be capable of producing senior level reports relative to fleet scheduling and forecast requirements.
  • Must be willing to work weekends, some evenings/nights, and holidays.
  • Position requires some physical exertion such as pulling, pushing, reaching, bending, standing, walking and light lifting of boxes, bags, files, etc. not more than 30 lbs.
  • Some company travel and overnight visits to the Maintenance Bases to observe overnight work may be required.
