Job Description

We are recruiting new pilots for Norra's upcoming commercial pilot courses. New pilots will primarily be hired for co-pilot positions in the ATR fleet. Courses will be organized throughout the year, depending on the resource situation.

We invite applicants to tests and interviews in accordance with our recruitment process in several batches during the application process. The application is open until further notice. We will select commercial pilots who have successfully completed the recruitment process for confirmed courses as the course dates are confirmed.

Work Conditions

Norra's pilot selection process consists of an initial selection based on an application, a possible simulator test, a suitability assessment and an interview.

Applicants who pass the initial screening will be invited to a simulator test if necessary. Some applicants may be sent directly to suitability assessments without a simulator test, depending on the applicant's flight training background. The possible simulator test will be conducted on an ATR 72 simulator, where the applicant will act as a pilot-in-command (PF). The simulator testing will be conducted in the immediate vicinity of Helsinki-Vantaa Airport.

Applicants who have passed the previous stages are sent to suitability assessments, which assess the person's abilities and aptitudes and their suitability for the job of a pilot. The suitability assessment is carried out by our partner Selex Oy. After the suitability assessment, applicants are interviewed by Norra. The suitability assessment and interview are held near Helsinki-Vantaa Airport.
