All About Us

The Manager of Aircraft on Ground (AOG) Services is responsible for the oversight and effectiveness of the MAC Desk Coordinators. The team is responsible for the movement of materials to support aircraft on the ground in highly critical, immediate needs and is responsible for purchasing and expediting high dollar routable materials.

All About The Role

  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to ensure the AOG team operates efficiently and effectively.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Identify training needs and facilitate ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure optimum coordination and selection of AOG material movements.
  • Monitor and control expenses to ensure budget compliance while meeting operational needs.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising safety, service quality, or reliability.
  • Analyze operational requirements and assess costs associated with AOG recovery efforts.
  • Develop and maintain schedules that provide adequate coverage for AOG operations and promote work-life balance for team members.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with vendors and service providers to ensure timely and reliable support.
  • Collaborate with technical experts to troubleshoot complex issues and find optimal solutions.
  • Review and approve critical exchanges and purchases necessary for aircraft on ground recovery.
  • Exercise sound judgment and decision-making to prioritize resources and minimize downtime.
  • Maintain open communication channels with internal stakeholders, including maintenance, operations, and procurement departments to ensure seamless AOG recovery operations.
  • Proactively identify and implement opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency in AOG services.

All About You

  • Four-year degree in Business, Finance, Operations Management, or Supply Chain Management or the equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of two years professional experience in an AOG, Purchasing, or Logistics environment.
  • Must have an understanding of aircraft technical systems and maintenance procedures.
  • Leadership training or experience is preferred.
  • Intermediate skill level in all Microsoft Suite applications required and must have the ability to demonstrate such.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Must possess outstanding oral and written communication skills.
