Location: Filton (minimum 60% onsite)
Contract: Contract until 31/12/2026 (likely extension)

Working Pattern: 35 hours per week (4.5 days, between 7am-7pm)
Pay Rate:£45.00 per hour Umbrella / £33.64 per hour PAYE

Clearance: BPSS (completed by the Client)
IR35: Inside IR35

The Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Lab Test Means Project Manager to join a highly technical testing environment supporting major engineering and fuel systems programmes. You will be responsible for the end‑to‑end delivery of complex test infrastructure, including the development, commissioning and operation of hydrogen test facilities and associated test benches.

This role sits within a transnational engineering organisation supporting both Lab and Flight Test activities, working closely with engineers, test specialists and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Full accountability for time, cost and quality delivery
• Define and manage Statements of Work
• Establish project governance and delivery structures
• Lead project execution using agreed KPIs and metrics
• Identify, manage and mitigate risks and opportunities
• Report progress to internal and external stakeholders
• Capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement

About You

• Strong Project / Programme Management background (PMI accreditation desirable)
• Engineering background with strong technical understanding
• Proven experience delivering infrastructure or test‑related projects
• Confident stakeholder manager across multiple functions and locations
• Excellent communication skills with advanced English
• Able to work autonomously with a high level of agility
• A proactive team player with strong leadership capability
• Experience working in transnational / multi‑site environments
