- Current Jet Type Rating on either: A320, A330, A340, A350, A380 with minimum of 500 hours on type
- Currency: 150 hours in the last 12 months on type
- License req.: ATPL

- Medical: Class 1
- ICAO ELP level: 5

Additional requirements:
- Final Secondary Education Certificate with Mathematics or Physics
- Candidates must pass an Air Mauritius Technical Examination.
