About KAZ AIR JET

JSC «KAZ AIR JET» is a business aviation operator based in Almaty, Kazakhstan. We operate a modern business aviation fleet and provide professional flight operations, charter and corporate aviation services.

We are currently looking for qualified aviation professionals for two separate positions to support our flight crew training, checking and qualification activities.

POSITION 1 – FAA-certified CFI / PILOT EXAMINER – PREMIER 1 (RA-390)

We are looking for an experienced FAA-certified CFI / Pilot Examiner qualified on the Premier 1 (Raytheon/Textron Model 390) to conduct Flight Reviews for our pilot holding an FAA pilot certificate and Premier 1 (RA-390) type rating.

Engagement: Short-term assignment, normally once per year, for the required annual Flight Review and related training/checking activities.

Mandatory requirements:

  • Valid FAA pilot certificate and all required FAA ratings and privileges.
  • Either Current and valid CFI (Certified Flight Instructor) privileges applicable to the Premier 1 / Model 390 or Current and valid FAA Examiner authority applicable to the required checking activities.
  • The candidate must specifically have the authority and privileges to conduct the required Flight Review on the Premier 1 (RA-390 / Model 390) for an FAA-licensed pilot.
  • Current qualifications and experience on the Premier 1 / Model 390.
  • Recent and relevant instructional and/or checking experience on the aircraft type.
  • Ability to provide documentary evidence of current qualifications, certificates, ratings, examiner privileges and relevant experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Flight Review and/or other required FAA flight training and checking activities for our pilot.
  • Conduct flight instruction and proficiency assessment on the Premier 1 / Model 390 as applicable.
  • Complete all required training, checking and documentation in accordance with applicable FAA requirements.
  • Provide appropriate endorsements and/or documentation following successful completion of the required activity.

Support provided by KAZ AIR JET:

KAZ AIR JET will provide full support required for the assignment, including:

  • Full validation of the instructor/examiner's licence and qualifications in Kazakhstan, where required.
  • Accommodation in Almaty.
  • Round-trip airline tickets.
  • Per diem / daily allowance.
  • Assistance with the required administrative and regulatory procedures.

POSITION 2 – TRI(TRE) / SFI(SFE) – CESSNA 525 (C525)

We are looking for a qualified TRI/TRE or SFI/SFE for the Cessna 525 (C525) family to support our pilot training and checking activities.

Engagement: Long-term cooperation, with training and checking activities normally required twice per year.

Licence requirements:

Candidates may hold a pilot licence issued by any ICAO Contracting State.

The nationality or State of licence issuance is not a determining factor. The key requirement is that the candidate's TRI/TRE or SFI/SFE qualification is formally recognized and documented by the relevant Civil Aviation Authority.

Mandatory requirements:

  • Valid pilot licence issued by an ICAO Contracting State.
  • A current and valid TRI/TRE or SFI/SFE authorization/qualification applicable to the Cessna 525.
  • The TRI/TRE or SFI/SFE authorization must be:
    • recorded in the pilot licence; or
    • recorded in a separate official certificate, authorization, rating, approval or other document issued by the competent Civil Aviation Authority, where this is the applicable system in the State of licence issuance.
  • The TRI/TRE or SFI/SFE authorization must be valid and current at the time of assignment.
  • Relevant recent experience as a TRI/TRE and/or SFI/SFE on the Cessna 525 family.
  • Documentary evidence confirming completion of the required initial training for the relevant instructor/examiner qualification.
  • Documentary evidence confirming completion of the required recurrent (revalidation) training and that the qualification remains current.
  • Ability to provide all relevant licences, certificates, approvals and training records required for validation.

Responsibilities:

Depending on the candidate's specific authorization and privileges:

  • Conduct simulator (FFS) training for Cessna 525 pilots.
  • Conduct proficiency checks, skill tests and/or other checking activities within the scope of the candidate's TRE/SFE authorization.
  • Conduct recurrent and/or other required training activities.
  • Complete all required training and checking documentation.
  • Ensure that training and checking activities are conducted within the scope of the candidate's valid licence, rating and instructor/examiner privileges.

Support provided by KAZ AIR JET:

KAZ AIR JET will provide:

  • Full validation of the candidate's pilot licence and TRI/TRE or SFI/SFE qualification in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
  • Assistance with the required regulatory and administrative procedures.
  • Accommodation in Almaty.
  • Round-trip airline tickets.
  • Per diem / daily allowance.

General Requirements for Both Positions

Candidates should be able to provide, upon request, copies of the relevant aviation documentation confirming their current qualifications, including:

  • Pilot licence;
  • Type rating;
  • Instructor and/or examiner authorization;
  • Medical certificate, where applicable;
  • Initial training records;
  • Recurrent/continuation training records;
  • Relevant checking records and/or certificates;
  • Logbook or other evidence of recent experience, where required.

Important: For both positions, the relevant instructor/examiner privileges must be current and legally exercisable at the time of the assignment.
