ALG has a number of great opportunities for Calibration Technician's to join a well-established commercial organisation based at Tullamarine Airport. The position will give the successful candidates the chance to get hands on exposure and the opportunity to work alongside aircraft engineers and other skilled technicians.

The contract is open ended and successful candidates would be working on a Monday to Friday Pattern. The typical shift time would be from 0700 - 15:30. This role is offering a rate of pay of $40.50 + Super.


Some of the main responsibilities of the position are:

  • Maintaining company premises and equipment
  • Undertaking repairs and servicing of equipment
  • Mechanical and Torque Testing
  • Assist in the installation and validation of new equipment
  • Tool handling and management
  • Manual handling
  • Record and report on testing results
  • Executing related task as part of the maintenance team and tacking instructions from Aircraft maintenance engineers

The successful candidates possess the following attributes:

  • Experience working in a calibration environment (Electrical or Mechanical is desirable)
  • Knowledge in tool management processes and tool maintenance
  • Demonstrated ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels of stakeholders
  • Full working rights in Australia
  • Willing to undergo a background security check (ASIC)
  • Willing to comply with medical requirement (drug/alcohol)
  • Strong attention to details, ability to multi-task
  • Demonstrate full compliance will all work rules and regulation.
