Location: Filton - 60% Onsite
Hours: 35 per week (4.5 days, flexible between 7am-7pm)
Contract: Until October 2026 (High likelihood of extension)
Clearance: BPSS+ (completed by the Client's Security Team)
Pay: £42.39/hr Umbrella | £31.68/hr PAYE
IR35 Status: Inside IR35

About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated and dynamic Business & Project Management Partner to join their engineering business operations function. Supporting a diverse engineering community, you'll play a vital role in delivering operational management solutions across project performance, resource planning, financial planning, supplier management and continuous improvement initiatives.

You will be embedded within one of the engineering functional teams to support planning, governance and business operations, ensuring alignment with internal and external customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure business and project management processes are fully adhered to within the engineering team.
• Support the creation, maintenance and monitoring of credible annual and multi‑year workload, resource and financial plans.
• Manage internal resourcing and external engineering supplier activities, ensuring compliance with policies and processes.
• Promote a proactive approach to identifying risks, opportunities and workload evolution.
• Collate, analyse and report key performance indicators for effective performance management.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to engineering teams on project and business management practices.
• Deputise in governance reviews for financial, resourcing and performance topics when required.
• Manage offload suppliers, purchase orders and project controlling activities.

About You

Our client is looking for someone who is:

• Experienced in Business Management and/or Project Management (experience valued over qualifications).
• Skilled in communication, negotiation and stakeholder management.
• Analytical with confidence using digital tools.
• Customer-focused, energetic, and able to inspire and engage stakeholders.
