We’re excited to offer a long-term opportunity for CAA B1 Licensed Engineers to work on the iconic B747-400 and / or B777 at East Midlands Airport (EMA).

Location: East Midlands Airport, United Kingdom
Position: CAA B1 Licensed Engineer
Aircraft Types: B747-400 and / or B777
Contract Type: Permanent (sponsored opportunity)
Shift Pattern: 5/5/4
Start Date: Rolling starts throughout the year
Pay Rates: Market-leading and recently updated

Line maintenance and flying spanner duties available
Engine conversion courses available for B1 engineers on the B747

Requirements

Valid UK CAA Part 66 B1 License

Type rating on B747-400 and / or B777 (GE90)

Valid training certificates: Safety Training + Human Factors, EWIS (Modules 1 & 2), and FTS Level 2

Key Responsibilities

Troubleshooting and diagnosing aircraft systems and components

Performing repairs and component replacements

Conducting inspections and functional testing

Certifying aircraft serviceability in line with CAA regulations

Ensuring full compliance with safety and regulatory standards
