Job Description: CONTEXT OF THE POSITION: The jobholder represents Engineering and Chief Engineering in A320 family Final Assembly Line, Wide Body (A330&amp;A350) Completion Center and Aircraft Delivery Centre in Tianjin. The jobholder support from FAL start up to Delivery in terms of topics which require engineering expertise in aircraft structure perimeter. ACCOUNTABILITY : The jobholder acts on the complete primary and secondary aircraft structure (all ATA chapters linked to structure design like doors, windows, fuselage, wing, tail planes &amp; pylons). The technical solutions are established for metallic and composite structure. The main activities and outputs are: 1. Analyzing Non Conformities discovered during aircraft assembly, testing and delivery. Provide assessment of acceptability of the Non Conformity, provide rework or repair solution to Non Conformity. 2. Provide design/stress assessment and justification of acceptability of the rework or repair. 3. Providing long term solutions to recurrent Non Conformities, through the proposition of design or manufacturing improvements. 4. Creating temporary aircraft definitions (through technical note or special instructions) in order to support the operational tests. 5. Provide aircraft safety assessment and delta endorsement for flight test. 6. Supporting delivery by providing technical justifications to customers. This role will involve some travel for business in Europe/worldwide and as such you must be able to travel accordingly. This role is working under flexible working hours and requesting standby during weekdays or weekends according to team arrangement. Job Purpose In Vueling, we are looking for an "MOC Engineer" who will be part of the Vueling Maintenance Department. The successful candidate will be in charge of 24/7 monitoring of aircraft technical status, AOG recovery, and minimizing time to rectification of MEL items and deferred defects. To provide immediate real-time expert advice and guidance on the interpretation of the MEL dispatch and technical troubleshooting to the OCC to ensure a robust and safe operation. The role is the primary interface between the maintenance department (MOC), OCC &amp; flight crew on a day-to-day basis. This includes the support to operations control to minimize schedule disruption. The role reports to the MOC manager, Head of Maintenance Operations, and ultimately to the Technical director. Main Accountabilities <ul> <li>Assure precise and on-time communication regarding all technical-related events between OCC and MOC.</li> <li>To provide immediate real-time expert advice and guidance on the interpretation of the MEL dispatch and technical troubleshooting.</li> </ul> Main Responsibilities - Tasks <ul> <li>Liaise with maintenance suppliers at each base to understand and advice on technical arising's as and when they happen. Ensure maintenance resource is located for all non-scheduled arising's most nimbly.</li> <li>Assure precise and on time communication regarding all technical related events with OCC (operations control center) to ensure the best changes to the day-to-day operation.</li> <li>Is responsible for Fleet condition monitoring follow-up through AIRMAN (Aircraft maintenance analysis), to propose necessary actions to rectify findings and areas of non-compliance.</li> <li>Pursue opened deferred items in Troubleshooting Liaised with flight crews &amp; maintenance suppliers to understand and advise on technical arising's.</li> <li>Review fleet "delay status report" to ensure delay coding is accurate. MOC Engineer

Key Responsibilities • Perform a variety of diagnostic and mechanical duties on one or more jet and/or turboprop, aircraft models involving diagnoses of malfunctions and required disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, reassembly or adjustment of various aircraft systems to prepare aircraft mechanically for flight and delivery to customer • Check, corrects or replace a variety of complex aircraft assemblies, landing gear systems, air conditioner system, pressurization system, and optional equipment installations • Repairs or replace engine components and accessory items such as fuel control units, air bleed system, oil and fuel pumps, starter/generators, and hydraulic pumps • Requires knowledge of annual and progressive inspection procedures set forth in aircraft maintenance manuals • Perform modification work on aircraft systems and structures • Responsible for clear, concise and accurate written reports in logs, inspection reports and in parts identification for issue and return documents • Conduct functional checks, engine test runs, instrument tests and alignment, and preventive maintenance on same • Perform duties in a manner consistent with the latest state of the art and highest standards of safety for maintaining aircraft in the most airworthy and reliable condition for the customers' safety • Uses tensiometers, micrometers, pressure gauges, dial gauges, vacuum gauges, and a variety of hand tools to repair and modify systems or assemblies • Carry out Ad hoc work to support the team and business when needed e.g. quote reviews Qualifications • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role • CASA B1.1 • Highly self-motivated team player • Willing to travel on occasion The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this job.
