Job PurposeFirst-of-its-kind training facility in Dubai, the&nbsp;Emirates Flight Training Academy (EFTA)&nbsp;is located in Dubai South, Dubai World Central (DWC). With its unique facilities and resources, Emirates Flight Training Academy offers the opportunity to learn to fly in the most advanced flight training academy in the world.&nbsp;Our fully-operational flight operations centre is dedicated to Emirates Flight Training Academy cadets only, making flight training part of everyday life at the Academy. This means you will have the opportunity to gain a complete operational experience in one holistic environment.&nbsp;As a Flying Instructor in EFTA, you are responsible for delivering high quality flying training instruction, initially on SR-22 single engine aircraft, to ab-initio pilot cadets, at the Emirates Flight Training Academy. Instructional duties include on-aircraft, in-simulator and on-ground instruction, preparation of lessons, pre-and post-flight briefings, accurate report writing and assessment. Having demonstrated proficiency in the single engine instructional role, there is the potential to move onto the DA42 twin engine fleet. Irrespective of fleet, having successfully completed 5-years in the instructional role at EFTA, instructors will have the opportunity to apply to join Emirates Airline, an opportunity no other FTO can offer.&nbsp;&nbsp;In this role:&nbsp;<ul><li>You will provide training and flying instruction to ab-initio cadets.</li><li>Conduct pre and post flight training briefings to ensure cadets have the requisite knowledge and understand the process and procedure fully.</li><li>Conduct and deliver flying skills training in aircraft, simulator, and ground instruction to ensure the cadets meet the prescribed standards of flying.</li><li>Conduct regular checks for cadets to ensure they meet the course standards.</li><li>Ensure the safety of the cadets is paramount and report incidents to the concerned personnel for any violations and situations that may affect the safety of the operation.</li><li>Monitor cadet’s proficiency and progress on regular basis and generate accurate reports of their performance.</li><li>Research, develop, and recommend new training methods to further improve the standard of learning and performance; and,</li><li>Deliver other flying-related training initiatives as directed by the CFI.</li></ul>&nbsp;To be considered for this role, you must meet the below requirements:<ul><li>You must have experience as an Ab-initio flying instructional experience in a large ATO.</li><li>Minimum 700hrs Total Time, 500hrs Instructional time, 200hrs IFR time.</li><li>Minimum GCAA or any ICAO Commercial Pilot License (CPL) or Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) with a Single Engine Class Rating.</li><li>Minimum Flight Instructor Rating with Night and Instrument privileges.</li><li>Class 1 Medical Certificate without restrictions.</li><li>ICAO English Language Proficiency level 5 or greater.</li><li>Exceptional instructional technique with an understanding of a broad range of teaching methodologies.</li><li>Computer literate.</li></ul>QualificationPlease make sure you attach the following documents to your online application:<ul><li>CV</li><li>Passport</li><li>CPL/ATPL License or Certificate</li><li>Class 1 Medical Certificate with no limitations (except visual corrections)</li><li>Last 3 pages of logbook</li><li>ICAO English Language Proficiency Certificate*</li><li>No-incident/accident certificate issued by a Civil Aviation Authority*</li><li>“Licence Verification Letter” as this is required by the GCAA for Licence conversion*</li></ul>*If you are not able to supply these documents at present, please note that you will be asked to present them upon joining Emirates Flight Training Academy.Salary &amp; benefits<ul><li>Basic Salary: AED 24,161 </li><li>Transport Allowance Provided</li><li>Company Provided Accommodation</li><li>Comprehensive Medical Insurance </li><li>Staff Travel</li></ul>&nbsp;Join us and enjoy an attractive tax-free salary.
