Sales Director Aviation Equipment

Full-time

Salary up to $120,000

Our Client DAES Group is a dedicated global aerospace service company with 15 offices around the world that provides turnkey services, support and knowledge to the industry. Headquartered in Arlington, Texas the group partnerships with more than twenty worldwide leading manufactures that design cutting-edge solutions such us wet blast, shot peening, anodizing plans, ultrasonic cleaning, blasting, automated FPI systems, test equipment, and ground support tools.

The DAES Group customers cover commercial airlines and operators, MRO’s- both OEM and independent, prime manufacturers, the military, and dedicated specialty service providers. With a wealth of industry and technical knowledge, DAES Group scope of expertise covers consulting support, program, business, and operations management, technical assistance, quality control, training, and facilities improvement.

Major Areas of Responsibility:

· Responsible for the capital equipment sales in the Americas

· Interact and collaborate closely with our partners and keep them involved in the progress made

· Grow the Capital Equipment business in the Americas

· Promote turn key and consulting capability of the group

· Provide leadership to the sales team

Primary Objectives:

· Achieve the defined sales growth targets

· Develop and execute sales strategies and key account strategies

· Develop strong customer relationships on multiple hierarchical levels

· Contribute with knowledge to the DAES Group and it’s partners

· Embed the DAES Group Slogan “Destined to Make a Difference”

Requirements

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

· Successful sales/commercial track record

· Technical/Engineering background

· Aviation Manufacturing or MRO experience

· Excellent interpersonal skills

· Leadership ability

· Can work in a result driven and team-oriented environment

· Excellent command of the English language both spoken as well as written

· Willingness to travel in the Americas

Education and Experience:

· Degree or equivalent experience as a Mechanical or Electrical Engineer

· Years of experience: 10+ years with at least 5 years sales experience

· Previous experience in capital equipment

Reporting:

· Reports to the President Material Management and the CEO of the DAES Group

· Position to be based preferably in the Fort Lauderdale area but have certain flexibility
