Operations Supervisor

Silk Way Airlines GmBh is looking for Operations Supervisor. 

Brief Description:

Acts as a single point of contact between the station and the HUB Operations Control Center by coordinating and reporting on the status of the aircraft all while ensuring that the safety and company procedures are carried out. Coordinating with the GHA in order to ensure sufficient resources are allocated for aircraft turnaround. 

Tasks

• Communication with local sales and reservations team regarding shipments booked for upcoming flights.
• Verifying the planned buildup and loading procedures for special cargo with the Cargo Operations Engineering Dept.
• Compiling and sending of FBL as well as any special buildup instructions to the Cargo Handler. 
• Supervision of the buildup process and verification that the buildup is done according to the company requirement (prior to aircraft arrival)
• Sending pre-alerts for any special cargo booked for flights (TSC, DGR, OHGs, VEH, Engines etc ) to HUB
• Ensuring that final pallet list (UWS) is complete and submitted to the Load planner (HUB, Outsourced or local)
• Ensuring that the GHA is prepared for servicing the aircraft upon arrival (cargo staging, ramp parking position etc) 
• Ensuring flight documentation is in order and delivered to aircraft in a timely manner.
• Aircraft Turnaround Co-ordination. 
• Issuing a turnaround report after every flight.

1. Continuous communications with OCC Duty Manager regarding aircraft turnaround status. Updating information on ETD of the aircraft.
2. Arranging and coordinating Ground Services (Fueling, Catering, Potable water/Lav services.)
3. Crew/PAX Coordination and transportation arrangements.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Completed apprenticeship or equivalent education in the freight-forwarding / airline industry
• Minimum 3 years experience in Ground Operations (preferred).
• Fluency in English as well as the local language
• Able to provide clear and concise communication to the respective party
• Able to work under operational constraints and to tight and continuously changing deadlines
• Keen perception and highly organized
• Safety oriented work ethic
