Fleet Manager
Fleet Managerrequired to work for a leading Airline in Europe. This is an excellent opportunity if you are looking for a long term contract.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that all maintenance carried out on the Client fleet in a dedicated region is completed in accordance with all regulatory requirements and company procedures and standards.
- Monitoring of technical status of aircraft fleet on a day-to-day basis
- Coordination of defect rectification with Contracted Maintenance Provider and MOC
- Coordination of other maintenance related functions with ground handling providers (e.g., aircraft washing, towing, deep cleaning etc)
- Assistance in continuous process improvement to ensure optimized communication and cooperation process between LM supplier and the Clients' departments.
- Oversight of hangar and stores facilities
- Provision of general engineering/technical advice to flight/cabin crew
- Oversight of update of the local technical Library
- Assist in coordination of down route maintenance support.
- Management and monitoring of Contracted Maintenance Provider's performance of contractual obligations.
- Performance of physical spot-checks on aircraft and maintenance providers.
- Participation in Invoice checking and cost control.
- Issue of Internal Work Order for performance by contracted Maintenance Organization
Mandatory Requirements
- Previous experience working as Fleet Engineer would be ideal
Having worked as as an Aircraft Engineer or ex-Engineer in maintenance, understanding the basic principles of doing aircraft maintenance and having commercial and communication skills.
- A320 Level III training required
