About the role:

The A320 Fleet Standardization Training Manager assists in providing the framework for fleets training policies, standards, and resources. This role reports to the Training Manager and plays a critical part in maintaining safety, operational efficiency, and consistency within the company’s fleet and is responsible for standardizing, supervising, and managing policies, rules, procedures, and instructions governing the outcome training activities. 

Responsibilities:

• Review and maintain company’s Standard Operating Procedures.
• Ensure that Operations Manual Part D and fleet simulator syllabi contents are up-to-date and meet legal requirements.  
• Ensure that all training courses, training instructions, required checks and training equipment meet legal standards and requirements.
• Verify that Conversion, Command and Refresher programs are completed to company standards. 
• Streamline the development of the airline training on domestic and international levels especially with the HCAA.
• Collaborate with Technical Pilot to supervise the revision of all manufacturer documentation that affects training operations.
• Verify adequate flow of information and feedback to the instructors and examiners.
• Control and organize the Flight Training of the fleet. 
• Safeguard the ground and flight training of flight crew. 
• Co-operation with the Cabin Services Manager to establish and ensure that SEP training meets safety and legal requirements for Flight Crew.
• Establish and maintain competent CRM training for Flight Crew.
• Identify safety threats and risks in Training Operations.
• Ensure that safety hazards and occurrences are reported during operations.
• Develop and implement corrective actions to address the findings in a timely manner.
• Supervise and ensure that fleet instructor’s and examiner’s initial and recurrent training are conducted in accordance with applicable regulations and company standards. 
• Recommend potential instructors to the Training Manager.
• Observe simulator sessions for TRIs/TREs and line training for LTCs to maintain instructor’s highest performance.
• Recommend candidates for Line Training Captain (LTC), Type Rating Instructors (TRI, SFI), Type Rating Examiners (TRE, SFE).
• Establish the prerequisites for employment, training, and upgrading of flight crew.
• Secure that the resulting standard of students meets safety and legal requirements.
• Conduct internal Training Department Standardization presentations.
• Control and maintain fleets training records in accordance with legal requirements.

Requirements:

• Shall be qualified as a TRI/TRE.
• In-depth knowledge of relative aircraft procedures, instructional recommendations, and EASA regulations.
• Fluency in oral and written English.
• Knowledge of MS Office.
