Compass Airlines careers
Compass Airlines is a regional airline from the United States, based in Minneapolis−Saint Paul International Airport. The airline was established in 2006. Compass has an interesting limit to it – due to contracts with their pilot union, Compass cannot operate aircraft that are larger than 76 seats. Thus, it is limited only to regional planes. A year later it launched its operation and it first flew from Minneapolis-Saint Paul International to Washington Dulles International Airport under the Northwest Airlink brand. The airline expanded quickly and in 2008 it already had 36 Embraer 175 passenger aircraft in its fleet. When Northwest Airlines, the parent company of Compass, merged with Delta Airlines, the latter sold Compass in 2010. Even though Delta sold Compass, the company still uses its online crew scheduling software and it has its headquarters in a Delta building. Currently, the airline has 56 Embraer E175 aircraft in its fleet and it operates the planes under the American Eagle and Delta Connection brands. While it is headquartered in Minnesota, Compass Airlines flies out of west coast hubs. The company prides itself on being an equal opportunity employer, so if you are sought after a career here – do not hesitate to apply. Career options are available for Pilots, Cabin Crew and Engineers.
