The Sales Support Agent- Nordic & Baltic States will over a well-planned 12-month period learn how to handle and support our daily group sales and travel agent requests, as well as assist our Key Account Managers and Country Manager in selected commercial activities.

Responsabilities:

  • Sales Support activities via phone & emails covering Air Canada ticketing policy and procedures.
  • Groups Reservations & Ticketing assistance, Preparing sales reports and handling Refunds.
  • Assist the Sales Account Managers with updating and monitoring of commercial agreements in Nordic & Baltic region in Salesforce and other internal systems.
  • Assist the Key Account Managers with promotional activities (trade shows, product training, sales events).
  • Assist sales occasionally with various sales related duties (benchmarking, sales statistics & analysis, etc.), if need be.
  • Handle daily group business for the Nordic & Baltic markets.
  • Manage dedicated group sales mailbox, sales phone calls and GDS queues.
  • Promote, price quote, contract and execute group offers to the travel trade in close cooperation with our Sales and Revenue Management department.
  • Miscellaneous office duties, as required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum high school diploma combined with min. 2 years work-related experience within service, transport, or tourism.
  • Ready to invest time in learning the international airline business from scratch with a steep learning curve over a 12-month period.
  • Knowledge of MS Office, with focus on Excel, as well as general IT savviness
  • Strong customer focus and commercial understanding
  • Ability to work with figures combined with good analytical skills and eye for detail.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Good communication skills (oral and written)
  • Positive attitude with ability to adapt to various customers and ways of working.
  • Results oriented.
  • Excellent level of written & spoken English & Danish. Swedish & other Scandinavian languages, an asset.
